Dr. MacIntyre’s passion to become a chiropractor began when chiropractic care helped him overcome several sports injuries in high school. These experiences showed him the importance of chiropractic care in treating musculoskeletal injuries, as well as the impact it can have on improving athletic performance and general well-being. As a runner, triathlete and hockey player, Dr. MacIntyre understands the importance of using chiropractic care to manage and prevent injuries.

Education
Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Life Sciences from McMaster University before attaining his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. MacIntyre also completed the Functional Integrated Acupuncture course through the FIT Institute which focused on pain management and sports injury management techniques.

Areas of Interest
Dr. MacIntyre's areas of special interest focus around managing low back and neck pain, headaches, sports injuries and enhancing athletic performance. Dr. MacIntyre utilizes joint manipulation, muscle release therapy, acupuncture, electrotherapy and active rehabilitation; combining them into an individualized care plan for each patient. His commitment is to return every patient back to the activities that they enjoy doing, while promoting a healthy active lifestyle.
